Pai

Pai is a small town in the mountains northwest of Chiang Mai, reached by a winding road with several hundred bends. It draws a slow, laid-back crowd who come for the hot springs, the canyon at sunset, the waterfalls, and the cool evenings on the walking street. It's more about scenery and quiet than sightseeing. Halal food is scarce up here, so it suits Muslim travelers who are happy with seafood, vegetarian dishes, or cooking for themselves.
