Data Deletion Instructions

Halathai (operated by Vixalab LLC) lets you delete your account and personal data at any time. Choose the option that fits your situation:

Option 1 — Delete from the mobile app (fastest)

  1. Open the Halathai app on your phone.
  2. Tap Profile in the bottom navigation.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete My Account.

Your account is removed immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2 — Delete from the website

  1. Go to halathai.com/auth/login and sign in.
  2. Open your Profile from the user menu.
  3. Scroll to Delete Account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm, then click Delete My Account.

Option 3 — Email request (if you can't sign in)

If you signed in with Meta (Facebook), Google, or Apple and no longer have access to that account, send an email to:

Include in the email:

  • The email address linked to your Halathai account
  • The login method you used (Email, Meta/Facebook, Google, Apple)
  • The subject line: "Data Deletion Request"

We may ask one or two verification questions to confirm the account belongs to you. We aim to complete email-based deletion requests within 7 days.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following are permanently removed within 30 days:

  • Your profile (name, email, phone, photo, bio)
  • Your saved listings, lists and collections
  • Your reviews and uploaded photos
  • Your push notification tokens
  • Your authentication credentials

What we keep — and why

For tax, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations we keep a minimal record of past bookings and inquiries — but with all personal identifiers removed (name, email and phone replaced with a generic placeholder). This anonymised record is retained for up to 7 years and cannot be linked back to you.

Public content posted by you (e.g. reviews) may remain visible with your name replaced by "Deleted user", unless removal is requested in your deletion email.

Disconnect Meta Login

Deleting your Halathai account also revokes our access to your Meta data. You can additionally remove "Halathai" from your Facebook account at any time:

Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → Halathai → Remove
