Hooray for elephant spa day

Wonder what a spa day looks like for an elephant? Get ready to find out in this half-day adventure where you’ll help these gentle giants enjoy a luxurious pampering session. Start your day with optional round-trip transfers that whisk you comfortably to the park, ensuring you arrive ready for fun. Once you arrive, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your expert guide, who’s not just any guide but an elephant aficionado. You'll get fascinating insights into elephant behavior, communication, and how to interact with these majestic creatures. Then, change into a traditional Thai outfit and dive into a hands-on Thai herbal inhaler workshop. You’ll learn to craft your own inhaler using traditional herbs like lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and eucalyptus, famous for their soothing and decongestant qualities.

Four-legged fun

After the workshop, it’s time to feed the elephants! Prepare nutritious food and vitamin balls that these large friends will happily devour. Enjoy a leisurely jungle walk alongside your new pals, then get ready for a playful mud spa session where you’ll join the elephants in rolling around in the mud—expect lots of laughs and a bit of mess. Cool off with a fun river bath alongside the elephants, splashing and enjoying the water together. Wrap up your visit with a delicious Thai lunch, savoring authentic flavors as you reflect on the day’s experiences. As you say goodbye, the elephants will send you off, leaving you with a heart full of happiness and memories to cherish.

I love elephants! This was a birthday treat to myself before leaving Bangkok. WELL. WORTH. IT! I had so much fun hugging elephants, feeding elephants, getting kissed by elephants, walking with them, washing them and swimming with them. I've never been so intimately close to these gentle giants. My son who started off afraid to feed ended up swimming with and brushing (or cleaning) the elephants. My heart was full that day!!!

Had an amazing time at the Bangkok Elephant Park! The elephants here are really well cared for, and it was great to see them up close. There were seven of them, ranging from a tiny two-year-old to a wise 55-year-old. Bathing them was definitely the highlight—especially when they started spraying water at us with their trunks! The guide was hilarious, cracking jokes while sharing interesting facts. The herbal inhaler workshop was a fun little addition, and the food was decent, though not ideal for vegetarians or vegans (pretty much just fries and watermelon). Pickup and drop-off were smooth, and they even took photos and uploaded them to Google Drive, which was a nice touch. Definitely a fun experience!

Oh man- we are still in Thailand, but this was def a major highlight!!!! Despite being a new company and working out the kinks- the staff are hilarious/attentive/passionate, and interacting with the elephants was a blast! We not only fed them, but took a mud bath and rolled around with them. It was such a unique experience. Despite having had to be rescused from terrible circumstances, they have clearly found happiness at this facility. While we were able to interact with the elephants, it was clear that their safety and comfort was always the priority and as a tourist who tries their best to only participate in moral activities abroad, that made me feel good about my choice. This would be one of the top recs I would make to a friend visiting Thailand. Thanks guys- keep up the fight, and I hope you continue to help more and more elephants out of various circumstances!
